Cecelia
“You’re breaking my heart”.
That was indeed the case for Connie who discovered this sweet girl at her sister’s cabin.Unable to personally provide the home she so desperately needed, Connie determinedly began to seek out someone who could. When an agreeable family was found Connie attended to all the details and delivery of Cecelia. Committed to ensuring that she had seen Cecelia through to safekeeping, she followed up the next morning. The sweetness of success evaporated when she was informed the cat had been put out for meowing too much. Connie sped to Cecelia’s rescue once again. Cecelia having nowhere to go remained put, perhaps she was counting on Connie to return for her.
SIGH! “Why do such crummy things happen to such nice cats”?!! We do after all as a species advocate that humans are the smart ones!
Cecelia is now in our care, comfortably recovering from her spay surgery. She is a gentle, gracious girl. Calm and appreciative we would like to see her placed in foster care as soon as possible.
Foster homes provide invaluable information on the day to day needs and preferences of rescued cats.
